Every company collects different information when employees submit time off requests. Until now, request forms in the Time Off module had a fixed set of fields. Now you can extend them with Custom Fields — just as you already know from the employee profile.
What's new?
A new "Custom Fields" tab has been added to the Time Off module settings. You can create additional fields and assign them to specific request types — leave, remote work, private outings, time off in lieu, or other absences.
How does it work?
Go to Time Off module settings and open the "Custom Fields" tab (located after the "Statuses" tab). For each field, you set a name (PL/EN), choose the field type, decide whether it's required, and assign it to a specific request or request type. New fields appear on the request form below the standard fields — in the order you add them.
What does this change cover?
- Request forms include the new custom fields
- Generated PDF of a request includes custom field values
- CSV/XLS export has been extended with custom field data
- The API endpoint has been updated — if you use integrations, new fields are also available via API
Custom Fields configuration follows the same pattern as Custom Fields in the employee profile — if you already use those, you'll find the setup familiar.
This feature is available for users of the Time Off module in the [PRO] version.
