Based on the feedback from our users, we are introducing an improvement to the Time Off module that allows employees to plan vacations even if they don't have assigned leave balances.
The system will only check the balance when the request is sent for approval. If an employee doesn't have a limit for a specific type of leave, the system will prevent the request from being submitted for approval.
This change will, among other benefits, allow employees to plan vacations for the upcoming calendar year before the new leave limits are assigned.
