Automatic Employee Assignment to Projects

A game-changing improvement for administrators managing projects and time tracking!
 
We've introduced an exciting new feature in the Timesheet module that enables automatic assignment of employees to projects. This functionality dramatically saves time when managing project teams that frequently change.
 
With the new 'Automatically assign people to projects" toggle in the "Team" section, you can now define criteria by which employees will be dynamically added to the project throughout its duration.
 
You can specify the following parameters:
  • Departments
  • Locations
  • Teams
  • Job positions
  • Employment types

 

The system automatically adds new employees who meet your selected criteria. For example, if you choose HR as a criterion, any new employee joining the HR department will be automatically added to the project.
 
Rules for automatic team updates in projects:
  • The system won't add new people to closed or suspended projects
  • The system will add new people if the project is reopened
  • The system ensures each employee is added to the project only once (duplicate control)
  • The system doesn't remove added employees (e.g., if an employee changes department and no longer meets the project participation criteria, you'll need to remove them from the project manually)
