In a nutshell, October/November 2023

Over the past two months, we've been working hard on improvements in the area of employee import and have introduced many improvements to existing features in tomHRM, making it more user-friendly.

Here's a quick list of changes:

EMPLOYEES

  1. Introduction of employee synchronization with Google Cloud Identity and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD). This allows for the automatic update of employee data from the selected environment to tomHRM, speeding up processes, improving data security, and minimizing the risk of errors.
  2. Two new types of custom fields in employee profiles: numeric field (a string of digits) and currency field (a string of digits with currency designation).
  3. Automatic change of employee status to suspended after the date of termination.
  4. Change tracking in employee cost rates (from the Time and Attendance module). The record is visible in the employee profile.

CONTRACTS

Two significant improvements in this area:

  1. Similar to automatic tasks in the contract register, we have introduced a solution in the certificates section. When entering the expiration date of a certificate, license, or qualifications, you can set up the automatic creation of the task assigned to any employee.
  2. Tags in employee notes for better data organization.

ATS RECRUITMENT

  1. Microsoft Teams and Google Meet video conferencing - the system automatically generates links to the selected platform, which are included in messages to candidates. Information available under the link is automatically updated even if the meeting time changes.
  2. Elimination of the recruitment stage limit.
  3. Exporting candidate responses to application form questions to XLS.
  4. New "Print CV" button in the upper right corner of the CV, allowing printing without downloading it to the disk.
  5. Performance improvements in the module.

REQUESTS

  1. Additional information on the request list to help module administrators in their identification.

TIME OFF - API CHANGES

  1. Allowing filtering of the absence list for precise database queries.

TIME TRACKING

  1. Possibility to add time entries in the future date.
  2. Extension in TMS reports with additional data: employment form, employment start date, and end date.

NEW MODULE - MEETING ROOM 

In November, we enabled our users to test the new Meeting Room module for free. It allows you to reserve one or more rooms for any meetings. It currently collaborates with the Training module, and in the future, we will introduce the possibility of room reservation for 1-1 meetings and in the Recruitment ATS module for candidate meetings. Module features include:

  • Calendar and checking room availability.
  • One-time and cyclical reservations.
  • Management of room reservation, location, and equipment.
