In nutshell

In a nutshell - Q1 2025

In the first quarter of the new year, in addition to changing servers, there are many improvements you've been waiting for.

TIME OFF

  • A new filter in absence reports that will make it easier for system administrators to create summaries and search for leave requests of a specific length. The  Length od absence filter allows you to list all absences of a specific length - e.g., those that lasted a minimum of 14 days.
  • An improvement in automatic report delivery via email. The company name will appear in the email content. This is a convenience dedicated mainly to companies that send reports to external accounting offices. Accounting will be able to more easily identify which company the received report relates to.
  • Addition of holidays and weekends for past years, which will allow for the creation of individual absence calendars.
  • The ability to disable the visibility of the field for indicating the work location address on remote work requests. The system administrator can decide in the settings of a specific type of remote work whether the address field should appear when submitting a remote work request.

ONBOARDING

  • A new option in the Tasks step type. Now tasks can also be assigned to the person designated as Buddy. The system will automatically assign them to the employee's Buddy when the new employee enters the onboarding path. More in a separate update → https://updates.tomhrm.com/en/assign-tasks-to-a-buddy
