The Overtime submodule of the Time Tracking system has undergone significant updates for administrators and managers, making the module more user-friendly.
1. In the My Team tab for managers, in the Requests tab for administrators, and in the exported XLS file, the "To Settle" column has been split into two separate columns:
Without having to delve into the details of each request, this update immediately clarifies the intended method of compensation an employee's overtime.
Both the Requests tab for administrators and the My Team tab have received a new layout. The My Team tab now includes a new Summary section that provides a real-time summary of overtime settlements.
2. In addition, managers can now export the overtime requests of their subordinates to an XLS file.
3. Email notifications sent to the approving manager now include how the overtime will be compensated.
4. For companies using both the Overtime and Time Off module, an important update has been introduced. It now allows overtime requests to be approved by a delegate specified in a leave request.
In other words, if a manager is on vacation or on a business trip and has designated a delegate in his or her vacation request, the delegate will have the right to approve overtime requests submitted by the manager's subordinates.
This change improves workflow and decision-making within the company by eliminating situations where employees are unsure whether they can work their scheduled overtime because their supervisor is unavailable.
5. We've also made several cosmetic changes to the desktop and mobile views to improve the application's clarity and overall user experience.
