Update in a nutshell - August/September
The past two months have brought many minor enhancements to make using tomHRM and understanding HR processes easier, both from the administrator and end-user perspectives. We also recommend paying attention to a crucial security update, 2FA authentication. Here's a summary of the changes:

APPLICATION SECURITY

Two significant security updates and usability improvements have been introduced:

  1. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
  2. Password preview is now available during login and password reset processes.

EMPLOYEES

Three modifications:

  1. In the employee profile history, you can now see all changes made by employees in column views. This means that if an employee has modified their column views by hiding or adding columns, administrators can review these changes in their profile history.
  2. Within competency profiles, we've expanded the details.
  3. You can now add a position directly in the employee creation form, not just from the Organization > Positions tab.

REQUESTS

Two important improvements have been made in the requests module:

  1. You can now add a manager of the superior department to the approval flow.
  2. Requests of a specific type can be exported to an XLS file.

LEAVES AND ABSENCES

In this module, we've introduced:

  1. The ability to plan leave for the following year, even if there is no allocated limit. From now on, you can plan leaves well in advance for the next year.
  2. The option to decide whether specifying a substitute for a particular type of leave or absence is mandatory.
  3. Modifications in the 'My Requests' view, where a separate 'Ongoing' section has been created. This section displays currently active absences, including remote work.

ATS RECRUITMENT

The ATS has received the following enhancements:

  1. The ability to monitor whether a candidate's financial expectations exceed the salary range.
  2. The option to export candidate data to an XLS file directly from a specific recruitment project.
  3. Recruiter-controlled notification settings for joining a recruitment project.

SURVEYS

We've expanded the API with endpoints that provide data from the surveys module. It's now possible to retrieve

  • Survey information.
  • Lists of respondents.
  • Survey results.
